Nepal Disaster Relief

Nepal Relief

On April 25, 2015 a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck Nepal, devastating the impoverished Himalayan nation. Over 6,000 people were killed and countless others injured, completely depleting the Nepal Red Cross Society’s relief stock.

Maternal Earth is working with local organizations to bring relief, needed food, water, and shelter to 2,300 families in some of the hardest hit areas. Nearly 100% of those in these communities are currently homeless, and unable to reach shelter.

Women are more likely to be killed and injured during a disaster. They are also less likely to receive relief services and are at a higher risk for domestic and sexual assault after a disaster occurs. You can help ME reach those in need by making a tax-deductible donation.

Maternal Earth is a 501 (c) (3), contributions are tax deductible.
